This is the last sermon in the “For Good” sermon series for the Easter season.

This sermon focuses on Genesis 50:20, where Joseph tells his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Q. What moments of your life do you wish weren’t part of your story?

> Pray for Joseph’s wisdom, to see God’s hand in that moment, weaving it with the rest of your life story for good.

> Next, pray for God to help you accept this, knowing that He is in control.

> Next, if possible, ask God to help you to be grateful for this part of your story, because it is part of how God is making you the person you are becoming for His glory and for your good.

> Lastly, ask God to show you how this part of your story is not only for your good, but for the good of others. Ask God to heal and redeem this in you, that it might bring healing and wholeness to others.
