If Jesus is Lord, and His life means the defeat of death, sin, and Satan, then we as His subjects must follow Him, obey Him, and submit to Him.
Q. Is Jesus your Savior, only? Or is He Lord of your life? Do you understand that difference? How would you explain to someone with words what it means to make Jesus your Lord?
Q. What in your life resists Jesus’ authority? Does this come from within you, or from without? What does it look like to surrender this to Jesus, and submit to Him, in spite of the pressure to do otherwise?
