“Witness”

This is the second of a two-part mini-series for Advent, looking at the life and message of John the Baptist in preparation for Christmas.

Q. How has Jesus “come near” to you? Think of one moment when you were sure of your faith because Jesus showed up in your life. How did this encounter with Jesus shape your understanding of who Jesus is? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you who needs to know the Jesus you know. Begin to pray for that person

Q. Has God worked repentance in your heart? Has God given you a “godly grief” about your sin? If you’re not sure, pray for God in His kindness to bring you to repentance.
