This is part 1 of a 2-part look at human beginnings.
Specifically, God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — creates humanity out of love, in love, for love. This is our beginning, and what it means to bear the Image of God.
And we see the fullest expression of the Image of God in Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:15). Jesus Christ is the new beginning of the restoration of our ability to reflect God’s Image after sin (2 Corinthians 3:18). And Jesus Christ is our pattern in the meantime.
